Delicious Blueberry & Elderberry Jam

Blueberry and elderberry chia jam anyone? I LOVE jam, but I don’t like all the added sugar. So I created this delicious homemade jam alternative that tastes so yummy and has some incredible health benefits!

Have you ever heard of elderberry syrup? We have an amazing local company @feelgoodsyrup that makes it right here in #yeg.  And this jam is a super delicious way to do just that! It’s also packed with some antioxidant rich blueberries. So awesome!⠀

To make the jam, add all of the following ingredients into a jar and shake shake shake. Leave on the counter for 30 minutes and then refrigerate overnight. ⠀

•1/2 cup fresh blueberries + 1/4 cup of water, blended until smooth⠀
•1 tablespoon maple syrup⠀
•1/4 cup So Elderberry Good Syrup⠀
•2 tablespoons chia seeds ⠀

This recipe makes just over one cup of jam! Top it on pancakes, add it to your breakfast cookies…YUM! ⠀
